Johnny Mac Foundation Donates Fire Family Transport Van in Honor of FDNY Hero John McNamara

The Johnny Mac Foundation is proud to announce the donation of a new vehicle to the Fire Family Transport Foundation (FDNY Family Fire Transport Foundation) in memory of FDNY Firefighter John McNamara. This initiative honors his selfless service and continues his legacy of helping others.

Firefighter John McNamara dedicated his life to serving his community, including his heroic efforts at Ground Zero. John worked approximately 500 hours in the rescue and recovery mission following the 9/11 attacks. Tragically, in 2009, he lost his battle with a 9/11-related illness. In his memory, this donated van will support FDNY members who face similar battles, ensuring they have access to the critical medical care they need.
